Abstract

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN) is the market leader in term of gas sales. Based on the 2015 financial report, PGN have 111.076 customers consist of Power Plant, Industrial, Commercial, and Household. 96% PGN Customers are household while less than 2% are Power plant and Industrial. But although Power plant and Industrial only have the least in number but they contribute 99% of PGN Profit. More specific, 17 Power plant give 40% profit for PGN (324 BBTUD from 797 BBTUD total sales). If we see it from the data of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), there are 316 Power plant that only 17 of it (5%) that use Natural Gas as fuel to produce electricity. It means there are still 299 diesel power plant that have the opportunity to convert into gas power plant.
