Key stakeholder begins to pressure governments and multinational corporations to implement regulations and kick start the journey towards a more sustainable economy, environment and social expanse. This study examined the key motivations behind the adoption of sustainable business practices, the conditions that supports the successful implementation of sustainability management, the barriers that inhibits companies from sustainability as well as the impacts of sustainable business practices on competitive performance.
