Abstract

The paper has investigated the predictors of affiliate marketing among mothers in Java with respect to digital literacy, platform support, time management, and social support in a trust-based digital space. The proposed relationships were tested using survey data available on active affiliate marketers through a quantitative research design and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling. The findings reveal that digital literacy and platform support are the factors that contribute to the effectiveness of affiliate marketing to a significant degree, and time management and social support do not exhibit a direct substantial impact. The measurement model validates a satisfactory reliability and validity and the structural model reflects a large amount of explanatory power. The results emphasize that technological competence, optimized content, and the efficient utilization of platform tools that enhance credibility and viewer confidence are the major determinants of the affiliate marketing performance. Veritable communication, evidence-based content plans and open interaction principles are seen as the decisive forces behind sustainable affiliate performance. The research adds to the body of knowledge regarding the role of trust and authenticity, which is possible with the support of digital capability, in the context of successful affiliate marketing in new digital economies.
