Arya Duta is a function unit who is responsible for providing and managing the supply for finished goods. To maintain continuous supply with the best quality product, the division is supported by a production system that is composed of several activities. The most important one is inventory management and storing process, which are heavily relay on warehouse capacity and the use of the space effectively and efficiently. On the process of writing the thesis, we found there are several problems. They are: Which the utilization of warehouse capacity is not fully optimized. We also found that the finished goods do not have good storage plan especially during peak season. The lack of storage plan is due to no optimal placement of finished goods in the warehouse. The process is also done in manual way that relies on the experience and skill of the employee for the time being. By the end of the time, this situation can influence the continuous supply chain of the finished goods. Some of the analyses are: The current warehouse management does not follow good warehouse practice. The current warehouse management is not able to define the fast and slow moving items.
