Abstract
Purpose - The aim of this study was to determine whether the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) had a significant effect on discipline and employee productivity at the Simpang Raya Restaurant in the KM 39+ Cikampek toll rest area. Design/methodology/approach – In this study, the method used is quantitative methods through observation, primary and secondary data collection and questionnaires to 44 samples (employees) of the Simpang Raya Restaurant in the KM 39+ Cikampek Toll Rest Area. To prove the results of the analysis, this study use the PLS-SEM method and hypothesis testing. Findings – The results of the analysis show that all factors are positively related, both from testing the outer model, inner model, and hypothesis testing. However, the main problem of this research, the decreasing of employee productivity point and decreasing of profit in 300 days in 2019 has not been resolved. That is because the SOP that was applied was not updated with the current situation. Significance of the study – From the study of “Effect of Standards Operating Procedures (SOP) Application on Employee Discipline and Employee Productivity of Simpang Raya Restaurant at KM 39+ Cikampek toll rest area”, this study provide analysis and suggestions for the future researcher to design their investigation on similar study, and also to company to find solutions to existing problems with a focus on updating SOPs and adjusting to the current circumstances of the company.
