Abstract

Upaya PT. Timah Tbk memasuki bisnis pengelolaan ladang minyak (TAC) melalu PT. Timah Eksplomin (PT. TE) memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan usaha di tengah-tengah kondisi PT Timah Tbk menghadapi tekanan berat di Industri pertimahan. Pengelolaan ladang minyak melalui TAC memiliki korelasi yang kuat dengan bisnis PT. Timah Tbk karena mampu menyerap kompetensi perusahaan anak lainnya. Pekerjaan-pekerjaan yang berkaitan dengan petrouleum operation cost (recoverable cost) sangat mungkin untuk dikerjakan oleh perusahaan anak lainnya sehingga diharapkan terjadi transfer value dari PT. PBMS ke perpusahaan-perusahaan anak.
