Abstract
BUMI Resources Group (the Company) is considered as the largest export coalmine in the world. It has two subsidiaries companies: BUMI Resources (coal) and BUMI Resources Mineral (non-coal). In spite of very challenging operating condition due to prolonged rainfalls during the year, the Company was able to deliver a 3.9% increase in sales volume by end of 2010, renching 60.7 million tons from 584 million tons a year earlier. An increase in production to 111 million tons per year has become target for 2012 and the expansion to non-coal mining will continue to be implemented as part of the Company's strategy to enhance business to provide maximum returns to the investors.
