Abstract

Economic growth is driven by entrepreneurial activity, thus academic institutions are under more pressure than ever to encourage students to think like entrepreneurs. Given that digital activity is expanding quickly across various industries, the application of digital technology in business operations is likely the most alluring to various forms of entrepreneurial activity. It is still uncommon to find research that aims to reevaluate the idea of the impact of the entrepreneurial education environment on entrepreneurial attitude and digital entrepreneurial ambition. This study's major goal is to determine whether or not educational environment elements can affect students' attitude and intentions toward starting a digital business. 100 Jakarta business and management students participated in the study. PLS SEM was the analysis method employed in this work, and the analysis software used was SmartPLS 3. The findings of this study show that, first, and entrepreneurial educational environment has beneficial effects on the entrepreneurial attitude of business and management students in DKI Jakarta, second, that there is no significant relationship between (DC) and (EA), and third, that entrepreneurial attitude has favorable effects on the students' intents to engage in digital entrepreneurship. A five-item scale was used in this study to speed up respondents' questionnaire completion. A short scale, however, may affect the precision of instruments. Theoretical and psychometric analysis may result in the loss of many things, although starting the initial item with at least twice as many items as desired for the final scale has already been proposed as a possible alternative. The results of this study will serve as a model for future research in related areas and give empirical evidence of the impact of the entrepreneurial education environment on attitude and its impact on intentions for digital entrepreneurship among business students in Jakarta. Additionally, the business campus or institution can offer support incentives for business students through initiatives that can boost their performance, such as digitalization training, business student capital funding assistance, entrepreneurial education, and support for digital transformation.
