Abstract

This research (thesis) is conducted to examine the effect of financial ratio (liquidity ratio, profitability ratio, financial leverage, earning yield and activity ratio) on stock return of company in pharmaceutical industry which is listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), either partially or simultaneously. The object of this research are pharmaceutical companies enlisted in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from period 2010 until 2014. There are several criteria to select sample from pharmaceutical industry, as a result out of 10 companies, 5 companies are selected to be used in this research: 1. PT Indofarma (persero) Tbk 2. PT Kimia Farma (persero) Tbk 3. PT Kalbe Farma Tbk 4. PT Mecrk Indonesia Tbk 5. PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk The result of this research explain almost all the financial ratio do not have any significant impact towards stock return when regressed partially, and when regressed simultaneously there more financial ratio that have significant impact on stock return such as Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Gross Profit Margin, Operating Profit Margin, Net Profit Margin, ROE, Earning Yield and Total Assets Turnover.
