Abstract

This research conducted to investigate about the distribution channel strategy conducted by PT. Hartech Indonesia in increasing sales results and to determine the effectiveness of distribution using 3C (Coverage, Cost, Control). PT. Hartech Indonesia is the object of research as a company engaged in the distribution of laboratory equipment and medical equipment. Based on this description, the formulation of the problem presented in this study is how the distribution channel strategy is carried out and how the effectiveness of the distribution channel is carried out in increasing sales results at PT. Hartech Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection is done by using interview techniques that are in-depth interview and documentation. The result of this research is that in distributing its products to customers, the strategy adopted by the company is a selective strategy and the type of distribution channel is an indirect distribution channel. Analysis of the effectiveness of distribution channels using 3C analysis evaluation, namely coverage of the market, control, and cost. The analysis shows that the company is still not effective in its target of increasing sales results.
