Abstract

This GFP (Group Field Project) was intent to exercise in creating one business concept that is different but relevant through the existing Semi Permanent Store which is super mini market chain. Feasibility and Concept Test New Enterprise on the Street (NEONS) - Unveiled Hidden Small Business Opportunity is a comprehensive development program on the street based on modem outlets, which is Semi Permanent Store (SPS). From physical outlook, it has a more attractive and clean outlook from current SPS, the difference lies in management style, coordination and promotion space, Our team goals are to be the innovative intermediary between suppliers and SPS, create a better management control in SPS, and also provide job opportunities to low income communities. There are 20,766 SPS in Jakarta and each has 2 people that attend the SPS. Assume each person has a wife, that's the mean 83,064 people depend on their lives in the SPS market. Not to mention their family and children. We used research data available from AC Nielsen, survey data and results from Frontier Survey Company to SPS owner and user as our data collection method, each from 30 respondents. Analysis techniques are sourced from retail management, supply chain management, marketing retail books and other related topics. In this paper we will elaborate the industry, market size and potential, the business model / concept of NEONS. As our pilot project development, there will be financial projects and project time lines.
