Abstract
The Group Field Project is an essential part of the Indonesian Institute for Management Development of Institut Pengembangan Manajemen Indonesia (IPMI) program. It allows IPMI's students to enchance their skills required in the real word in analyzing the present and future business environment. It also serves to strengthen the links between the business community and IPMI. The objective of the projects is to shift the students attention from analyzing static data placed in front of them to the challenging task of dynamic problem solving. In a sense, the project is a laboratory in which the student can apply what they have learned. At the completion of GFP, specific recomendation aimed at improving a company business performance would be presented to management of the sponsoring company
