Abstract
PT. Arnott’s Indonesia is Australian company which is internationally known for production of biscuits such as Tim Tams, Good Time Cookies, etc. PT. Arnott’s Indonesia is one of the largest food companies in the Asia Pacific region, with a bright future. PT. Arnott’s Indonesia ongoing growth has been supported by the Campbell Soup Company’s investment in PT. Arnott’s Indonesia and its iconic brands. Learning and Development department of PT. Arnott’s Indonesia are facing the condition where the employees felt that they didn’t get a proper development program. To define the training for development program, our group objective is to make a Training Need Analysis. Due to uncompleted data that our group should obtain, with the agreement from PT. Arnott’s Indonesia, our group has changed the objective of our GFP from Training Need Analysis to Training Syllabus. The purpose of this project is to make a Training Syllabus for all position in each department in PT. Arnott’s Indonesia. The Training Syllabus is needed in PT. Arnott’s Indonesia as a guideline for the employees who want to increase their competencies for improving the individual and company’s performance. To develop a Training Syllabus our group needs competencies from each department. From these competencies, our group can analyze which position needs to improve their skill or knowledge that will fulfill the company’s requirement. Data is collected from primary sources and secondary sources. Data is analyzed following several stages as below: 1. Defining the Competency Map 2. Defining the Definition for Each Competencies 3. Design Training Syllabus The result of training syllabus could be implemented in Arnott’s ongoing training program, but the syllabus that these studies have formulated might need several adjustments and refinements to achieve the desired outcome.
