Abstract
Nowadays, barbershops become promising business in Indonesia, the competition in barbershop industry also become fiercer. There are several new barbershop starts to emerge and try to compete with their own unique concept and more competitive price. PT Allyand Putra Perkasa, is engaged in service business for the men’s grooming. Business activity of PT Allyand Putra Perkasa is opening exclusive chain barbershop in Indonesia. PAXI Barbershop established at Jakarta in 1999, and currently become the leading luxury barbershop in Indonesia. PAXI barbershop planned to growth their branches by five by the end of this year (2014), but Mr. Armen Noor as a CEO feels there are certain problems that PAXI currently faced starting from: - Quality Control - Reporting System - Human Resources To identify those problems we use SWOT Analysis, Management Theory, Organizational Design Theory, McKinsey 7s Framework, and Franchise theory as our foundation to find best solution for PAXI. Based on 7s McKinsey theory that we used, we found several problems in the management of PAXI that will hinder PAXI to achieve their objective. There are 3 main problems in PAXI that need to be fixed: - System - Structure - Staff Lastly, there are several recommendations based on our research that we would like to provide PAXI that we hope will bring benefit for their further management development.
