Abstract

Entrepreneurship is important to be well understood and practiced by a society. Likewise, it is important for the young generation to have entrepreneurship education. IPMI Mengajar is a social program from IPMI to facilitate high school students to learn about Entrepreneurship. The purpose of this community involvement project is to deliver entrepreneurship education through extracurricular program to students of Al-Izhar Senior High School, Jakarta. The objectives of this project are: (1) to make students understand about what is entrepreneurship, what does it mean to be an entrepreneur and having an entrepreneurial mindset; (2) to give the students opportunity to learn from various practitioners, professionals, and business players; (3) to inspire them to be future entrepreneurs with right understanding and mindset. The program is divided into three main activities, i.e., lecturing, workshops, and assessments. By the end of the project, all of the student participants gave positive feedback towards the program. They understood the concept of entrepreneurship and were inspired by the speakers in the workshops. Some of the students even already started their own businesses to implement what they have learned. Based on these results, it is proven that this kind of entrepreneurship education program can give much benefit and bring impact for young generation. Some recommendations include improving the syllabus and teaching materials, more training for the coaches, and adding more company visits and guest lectures.
