Abstract

Larsen & Toubro, Ltd. (L&T) appointed PT Margan Sinta Cemerlang (MSC) as its sole distributor for low-voltage (LV) circuit breaker in Indonesia. L&T and MSC needs to define their market entry strategy to archieve their business objective of avarge USD 4.2 million of sales in the first five years. Leveraging multiple analyses on external enviroment, industry, internal, and competitor, we recomended L&T and MSC to define its strategic objective as "to achieve 1.2% market share by 5-year-perioed by offering circuit breakers in large swtichgear panles to business costumers who delegate their purchase decision to EPC, consultants, and large ME contractors, through a large network of panel builders"
