Abstract
Working Capital Management essentially is the optimization of the balance sheet items: Inventories, Receivables from customers, Payables to suppliers, and their impact on an organization's Cash. These balance sheet items represent the organization's daily operational effectiveness The Company acknowledged some problem in controlling the inventory level. It had become increasingly high across the divisions and could generate potential liquidity issues in the near future. In this Group Field Project we have been analyzing the current practices in the Company and identified the root causes in the high inventory level. Conclusively we have come up with some recommendations for the Company. Therefore, we truly believe by controlling inventory level and by managing the order volume and timing, empowering and engaging the employees in enhancing the company's excellence will generate a very positive impact into PT. Pauwels Trafo Asia's cash flow.
