Abstract
This study analyzes the public market attractiveness, company resources, distinctive capabilities and potential threat of PT. PT. Novartis Indonesia Indonesia in order todevelop a strategy and deliver innovative solutions to maximize this business in UHC (Universal Health Coverage) market. Starting in January 2014, Indonesian government plans togradually implementingUniversal Health Coverage (UHC) and expected to cover all the population about 257 millions people in 2019. PT PT. Novartis Indonesia Indonesia consider UHC as a key corporate growth driver thus they needs to develop a strong strategic initiative to ensure they tap this potential public market.Methodologies used for this study starts withdata collection about pharmaceutical industry, Indonesia UHC both internal and externally. Data collection is then analyszedusing related theoretical and market approach to find out the appropriate strategyfor the client to the purposes of this GFP. This analysis focuses on: UHC and prediction on how client can access the market potential in implementation of Indonesia UHC Assessmentin the market attractiveness and potential Target market using raw numbersand pricing to support pricesdecreasestrategy Oganizational resources and readiness identification: assessment on brand portfolios, financial, core team, supporting units, and its competencies Penetration in public market, brand selection and theoptimum opportunity. The minimum volume to preserve profitability Identifying the relevant business stakeholders Assesing the current team and existing relationship with each key decision makers.Identifying necessary changes to the team to ensure key decision makers are engaged throughout the process. These analysis leads to strategy development: assessment on market volume share, optimal price, distribution, stock, sales team, relevant external advocacy
