Abstract
According to Plunkett Research, Global consulting industry revenues (including HR, IT, strategy, operations management and business advisory services) will be about $415 billion in 2013, according to Plunkett Research estimates. This represents reasonable growth from $391 billion in 2012 (Plunkett, 2013). Company X is a consulting company that was established in Singapore as the reason to focus on winning the consultancy market in Asia. At that time, the founder has realized that Asia will be the very important area in the world for business industries. There will be a lot of projects coming from so many companies that will need some real game plan from consulting companies. This paper will show further how Company X will grasp this opportunity in consulting industry by analyzing its current status and surrounding environment and also set up the strategies needed for Company X to gain significant market share. To answer this, the writer will use some theoretical supports to answer the problem of this paper. The tools including SWOT Analysis, PESTEL Analysis, Competitor Analysis, Client Analysis, Single Business Strategy and Porter’s Five Forces.
