Abstract
Valuer profession has been in Indonesia since 1970. The profession became known as the asset / property valuer, because the objects according to their work. Indonesian Society of Appraisers (MAPPI) was formed in 1981 as a forum for the people who work as assessors. Business Valuer Association of Indonesia (IPPUI) was established in 2000 as a forum for professional valuer who focuses on business valuation. In the mid-2000s era, the Finance Ministry only recognizes one valuer associations, therefore IPPUI directed to merge into MAPPI that already exist much longer. The Government set the valuer profession through the Regulation of the Minister of Finance. 125/PMK.01/2008. In the PMK public assessors, both property and business valuer, who has had a license are required to have the Office of Valuer Services (“KJPP”) is a fellowship of business as well as the Public Accounting Firm (“KAP”). Strength, weaknesses, opportunity, and threat need to be defined for KJPP Ruky, Safrudin, & Rekan (“RSR”) to grow. Other analysis method such as PESTL, Porter’s Five Forces, Industry analysis, and competitor analysis are utilize to support RSR’s to achieve its objective which is to be Top Five Valuation Firm in Indonesia Within Five Years. Based on the analysis above, several recommendations are proposed which are; organic growth, strategic alliance, and merger. Those recommendations are also supported by the development of marketing department that figure out by using marketing mixed strategy. Moreover, some improvement in recruitment process needs to be taken into account. In overall, this study will develop about strategies that focus on assessment KJPP businesses, in order to take advantage of market momentum and anticipate competition as well as growth of concern regarding the importance of KJP
