Abstract
This group field project is aimed at analyzing (1) the current distribution strategy and (2) marketing strategy of PT. Nippon Indosari Corpinda, in particular on the modern channel market. On the distribution area, the analysis is focused on the load capacity, vehicle routing as well as the possibility of cost reduction. On the other hand, the analysis of marketing strategy is mainly on the establishment of customer profiling, product classification and alternative selling systems. The analysis uses some tools such as Earn Turn Matrix Analysis, l'areto 80-20 Analysis, Profitability Index, etc. Qualitative and quantitative research was done to obtain more relevant and up to date data. Hero, Carrefour, Giant, Superindo, Naga, Tip Top are some of the respondents who have been used as test cases for modern distribution channels in this segment. The results of the analysis can be seen on two sides; marketing and distribution. In the marketing side, by using Eam Tun Matrix Analysis, the company's modern channels are grouped into four based on net sales value and cost of services. For example, Carrefour and Hero are grouped as "Protect" groups where they generate high net sales value and low ant of service. In the "Danger Zone" quadrant, the Ramayana and Ranch market is part of the quadrant due to their low net sales value and high cost of service. This recarch is also proposed some alternative selling systems for different customers such as No return selling systems for Star Mart and Sharing returns are good for Supermarkets. On the distribution system, one of the recommendations is based on load capacity, Minimum cost saving of Rp. 24. 178 million / month can be achieved by replacing low load capacity - 4 tire trucks with high load capacity - 1,300 trucks.
