Abstract

Nowadays, the young generation must start preparing themselves to enter the working world because they have to compete between individuals, not just within the scope of one city or country because, in the future, the competition will be at the world level stage. Therefore, there must be preparation regarding the skills the individual possesses or the institution that is the place for young people to learn. SMK 16 Jakarta, an Indonesian educational institution, is one of them. Vocational high school state 16 of Jakarta supports its students to home skills according to their existing majors through their program. This external teaching program helps students to prepare to pass the annual examinations. We held a program on improving skills as mentors and presenters of students there, also supported by IPMI International Business School. Our topic "Managing business inventory with excel", includes ice-breaking, personalized materials to get student's attention and interest in learning excel and discuss issues such as business operations through stock-taking. With 33 students participating, we got positive feedback from SMK 16 Jakarta students.
