The Group Field Project (GFP) is an essential part of the IPMI Magister Manajemen / MBA Program. It allows IPMI's students to enhance their skills required in the real world in analyzing the present and future business environment. It also serves to strengthen the links between the business community and IPMI. The objective of the project is to shift the students' attention from analyzing static data placed in front of them to the challenging task of dynamic problem solving. In a sense, the project is a laboratory in which the students can apply what they have learned. Hyundai Mobil Indonesia (HMI) has positioned ATOZ in the small city car low segment but the drastic fall of unit sales between 2003 to 2004 has been major cause of worry for the management. More frustrating was that few new entrants have shown impressive growth and occupied dominant market shares during the same period. The challenge will be to analyze the key aspects of the city car low segment aspirant buyers. In addition we must do market research analysis and recommendations that could help review market plan 2006 of Hyundai ATOZ.
