Abstract

Just like the human organ in general, the eyes play a vital role in the human body as it is the only organ that allows us to see. The project idea arised when the authors found out that there is a foundation called yayasan bersama kita sejahtera (BKS) in north Jakarta that needs help with encouraging and educating underprivileged students to learn how to take care of themselves. The main focus was about eyes due to the fact that the students at Yayasan BKS are having difficulties in doing their activities as they are unable to do eye treatments. It is not only about providing eye treatments to them but also educating the consequences of neglecting our own body. Furthermore, the authors are fortunate enough in providing experts (doctors) that were able to teach the students the importance of learning their own body and how it works from an early age specifically about the eyes as that was our main concern and the reason behind the implementation of this project.
