Abstract
According to the OECD-FAO, in 2022 Indonesia is included in the top five countries with the largest aquaculture production in the world. Indonesia's biggest contribution is the aquaculture sector. Unfortunately, the business processes in the aquaculture industry is frequently inefficient and ineffective. The solution to delivering effectiveness and efficiency in the Indonesian aquaculture sector by acquisition of the latest technology. However, the lack of technical knowledge for fish farmers and the unpredictable price of fish which more expensive will cause the technology application in the industry is difficult to be applied. The collaboration with efishery will examine the latest technological innovation in their latest business processes. This paper is using qualitative analysis methods, In the process, this study used interactive model analysis. By evaluating three different frameworks for assessing the degree of congruence between parties, intervention process, and technology adjustment, some of the latest inefficiency and ineffectivity factors found in efishery technology. This study also shows two significant factors in technological innovation : producer flexibility and technology farmer participation. It was also found that technology can be developed effectively when it represents a two-way communication process between its farmers and the efishery. In conclusion, the goal of this study is to evaluate the technology innovation in Indonesia's aquaculture industry.
