Abstract

Well being of the community has always been the most important issue in any state/country. Inflation and inequality of payment for the same services that a member of community can get can be considered as the significant issue in well being of the economy of individuals, families, and in bigger sense the entire society. To find out that whether there is any inequality in this regard in the Indonesian community we as a group of researchers started to examine different sectors. As a result, we found out that there is a significant difference in the price of "oil by products" in different islands in Indonesia. Searching for the roots of such differences led us to the cost of "oil by production" in Indonesia. After, a quick research and discussion with the experts in oil and gas sectors we found out that production cost in Indonesian seven refineries is very high. Regardless of the fact that most of these refineries are old, we found out that the question of refurbishment and management are also significant.
