Abstract
This study intends to examine how stock performance fluctuates among fifteen companies that are constantly listed in the SRI-KEHATI index for the period October 2017 to September 2022 and analyse the impact of market return, firm size, free cash flow, dividend payout ratio, interest rate, and market capitalization with COVID-19 as the moderating effect on stock return. This study tested all hypothesis using the T-test, the F-test, and panel data regression with the assistance of SPSS software. There was no significant difference between the stock returns however in stock risk, there is different amongst the companies during the research period, with 38% percentage. Market capitalization, firm size, free cash low, dividend payout ratio, had no effect on the stock returns of companies. However, interest rate, market return and COVID-19 had significant effect on the stock returns. COVID-19 did not moderated the influence of market capitalization, and interest rate, and marginally influence firm size on the stock return. The findings of this study could be used by (1) academicians as a starting point for further research on market return, interest rate, firm size, and stock return, (2) managers in formulating strategies, and (3) investors in deciding whether to purchase stocks of the selected company with considering the ESG factor.
