Abstract

Mental health problems are serious issues in Indonesia. The stigmas and current situation where the government has not contributes enough to support mental healthcare in Indonesia make this problem difficult to resolve. Through this Community Involvement Project (CIP), we want to take part in the sustainable development goals number three which is to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being. The objective of this project is to achieve higher awareness about mental health through some educative events to the society. In the implementation, we connected with mental health community called alpas and created two types of events; online and offline. In this project, we collected both primary and secondary data as the based to find a problem. Primary data collection is conducted through interviews with stakeholders while the secondary data is through literature review and Alpas documents. After carrying out these several events within 6 months. we contributed to the project design and implementation to build awareness for mental health. We gave and impact to 212 people, 169 comes from the offline participants and 43 from online participants. Our CIP programs has helped alpas to be more sustainable in increasing the awareness of mental health as we have developed the most effective events to promote the issues about mental health.
