Abstract
In Indonesia, there are more than 5.540 orphanages with a total of around 315.000 children being cared for in all orphanages. The number is possible to increase in the future. There are many causes of children being accommodated in orphanages such as their parents died. family economic situation and other various things. All of these children really need help from people who are generous and care for them. The aims that come so far have mostly been in the form of direct assistance. Those aims that comes to orphanage usually are form of money, clothes, or food for the daily life of the orphanage. But if we look back to the history of the children, many of them are live in an orphanage because of the family's economic shortage, and this direct assistance is only useful for a short time during their stay in the orphanage. Therefore, we as students of Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen IPMI, who have the responsibility to conduct a communityinvolvement project (CIP) want to help them through interesting programs. Not only donating money, clothing and food but we also do a teaching and learning program for them. But it is different from the usual school programs. We provide them with material on entrepreneurship and environmental care that is expected to be useful in their lives when they grow up and leave the orphanage. We package the entrepreneurship program in a minimal way so that they easily apply existing learning and can make a work more in accordance with their respective ideas, which can then be sold and can help their lives in the future. Other activities include environmental awareness by conducting bio pore infiltration hole training. We hope that through this program they will be increasingly concerned about the environment that will be useful for them, and also for many people, including young people in the future. To do this program, we cannot move alone because of our limited budget. Therefore, we invite Jakarta Sedekah to do the program with us. So far Jakarta Sedekah has do voluntarily assisted to various orphanages, but they only providing money and food as a form of assistance. Here we help Jakarta Sedekah to carry out new activities, which we hope can also help the Jakarta sedekah mission to attract more people to help orphanage through Jakarta Sedekah before being distributed to various orphanages.
