Abstract

With the current covid-19 situation, it has caused a huge impact towards our mental health, especially to the students since they have to carry out their study from home and it will be very heavy on them to balance their life. Which is why our group conducted this research by holding a charity event about "mental health awareness during covid-19 pandemic from student's perspective", with collaboration of IPMI International Business School with bullyid, and online platform that is created on providing support for those who have activities that are being hampered due to the pandemic. Because this is a charity event, all donations will be donated to halo jiwa in kita bisa.com During the event, we discovered that many of the participants are female, in which it is because females are the ones that worry the most about mental health issues. We also observed that a lot of participants shared their personal experience on tackling the mental health issue, starting from the struggle of balancing the life between school work and family time, the challenge of focusing on their subject due to online learning, etc. We also got a chance to hear from the parents on how to handle mental health issues for their children. Once the event was completed we can see that the presence of bullyid has given participants a chance to share their personal thought and be able to come up with solutions to solve these issue
