Abstract

The tourism sector is included in the 5 (five) priority sectors of Indonesia's development in 2018. The tourism and creative economy sectors are two sectors whose existence is interrelated- where the tourism sector in Indonesia can be well-developed if it is supported by the creative economy. There are 2 (two) pillars of sustainable development in the tourism's sector; namely community participation/involvement in realizing friendly tourists' destinations by implementing health protocol; clean, health, safety and environement (CHSE), and promotion/advertising processes. In todays' era, millennials also have an ombinent role to support tourism and economy creatives' development, as they are deemed as tech-savvy, creative thinkers, experimentative and influential buyers. In the context to tourism and economy creatives development by virtue of accelerating the increase in tourism visitis, both foreign and domestic tourists and survival act due to COVID-19 occurrence, specifically in Tasikmalaya, the directorate of regional events, deputy for tourism product and event Organizers-in collaboration with komisi X of the Indonesian house of representative (DPR-RI) held the event. Furthermore, the event was held with help of PT Multi Beneficial Centralindo as an events' organizer/controller. The authors, as a representative from IPMI, collaborate with PT Multi Benefecial Centralindo to implement this event. The activity used a hybrid concept-a combination of physical and virtual/remote meetings. As for offline/physical, all activities were complied with the local health protocols.
