Abstract

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the tourism industry is experiencing the worst performance. the tourism industry is an important component of Indonesia's economy; however, social protocols deter indonesian from traveling abroad and international tourist from visiting Indonesia. UNWTO (united nation world tourism organization) suggest a new sustainable model of tourism. VR (Virtual Reality) tourism can be an alternative to actual tourism. meanwhile, digital media businesses such as netflix are expanding rapidly during the covid-19 pandemic.
