Abstract
This study investigates the influence of Values-Based Leadership (VBL) onBusiness Resilience (BR) and Long-Term Business Success (LTBS) within Triputra Group, one of Indonesia’s most prominent conglomerates led by T.P. Rachmat. Grounded in the belief that leadership rooted in integrity, excellence, compassion, and humility—the Triputra DNA—is essential for sustainable success, this research examines how VBL shapes Corporate Culture (CC), strengthens Employee Engagement (EE), and promotes Ethical Decision-Making (EDM), and how these factors collectively enhance BR and sustain LTBS. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting responses from 175 employees across multiple business units within Triputra Group using a structured questionnaire. The analysis applied Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to test seven hypotheses linking VBL, CC, EE, EDM, BR, and LTBS. Results indicate that VBL has a substantial and significant positive impact on CC, EE, and EDM. Furthermore, CC and EE emerged as strong predictors of BR, while BR was found to be a decisive driver of LTBS. These findings underscore that, in the context of Triputra Group, resilience is not merely a defensive capability but the primary engine sustaining long-term success. This research contributes theoretically by bridging leadership theory with practical business outcomes in an Indonesian corporate context, highlighting VBL as a strategic asset in navigating economic uncertainty and market disruption. Practically, it offers a leadership blueprint that organizations—especially in emerging markets—can adopt to embed values into culture, engage people, make ethical decisions, and build resilience for enduring success. Keywords: Values-Based Leadership, Corporate Culture, Employee Engagement, Ethical Decision-Making, Business Resilience, Long-Term Business Success, Triputra Group.
